The Gift of Life Program (GOL), run by the Rotary Club of Makati West (RMCW), provides free medical and surgical interventions for poor children who have congenital heart problems.
HOPE assists RMCW in strengthening the program particularly by introducing the program to potential partners and donors in private and public sectors.
The GOL is also RMCW’s way of supporting the government’s thrust on universal health care and PhilHealth’s No Balance Billing program. The Program ensures that the families of the beneficiary-children will not have any out-of-pocket expenses as their children go through the procedure.
For more than 10 years and to this day, GOL has supported more than 500 surgeries. RCMW is currently working with four (4) partner hospitals namely, Philippine General Hospital, Philippine Heart Center, National Children’s Hospital, and Philippine Children’s Medical Center, in this life-saving program.
Through your support, RMCW and HOPE can continue to offer love and the gift of life to many more children who are simply waiting for their turn to be assisted particularly through a heart surgery or intervention.
